The 2009 edition of the Pesticide Behaviour in Soils, Water and Air conference relocated to the modern conferencing facilities at the The Food and Environment Research Agency on the outskirts of York.
Aims of the conference
The conference presented the latest research into the environmental behaviour of pesticides and its application in assessing and managing risks to the environment and human health. We considered each environmental compartment in turn, blending research into basic processes with study of routes of environmental exposure and the development of practical management strategies to reduce contamination.
